Happy New Year

I love the first day of January! It seems like such a fresh start to a new year when anything is possible. New year, New hope, New goals. I can do what ever I choose this year, learn Spanish, learn to play the guitar, loose weight, gain some amazing skill...it's all there waiting for me to get out of my pj's and get to it!

I am so grateful for 2008. It was an amazing year full of change change change. January started with us in Nixa, MO, packing and saying some tearful goodbyes. Steve headed to Southern California and the kids and I to Sanford, CO. We then had one of the best/worst 8 months in history. We missed being together and hated having Steve so far away. We loved being around Tyla, Mandy, mom and dad, and Grandma and Grandpa...and all the other relatives. It was like being at the 24th of July for 8 months. If you want to have a side splitting good time just take Tyla, Mandy and my Grandma Hutchins and go on a road trip! August found us moving to Sacramento, CA to be with Steve which was so nice. September, Braiden turned 12 and received the Aaonic Priesthood, October Kyle turned 14 and was made a teacher and then December vovo and pops were so wonderful to risk their lives through Donners Pass and join us for Ethans baptism. Whew i'm exhausted just thinking about the year. We have been blessed to have the love and support of both our families and to meet so many new people that will be friends for life. The Lord has been good to us.

I look forward to what the new year will bring, I hope each of us will find peace and happiness.
We love you all.
Lisa
