Happy New Year

2009 was a great year for the Amata's.
Nate - turned 5 and started Kindergarten in August. He is full day and loves his teacher, Mrs Heu, she comment on how quiet and shy he is. I'm always amazed because he is MUCH more boisterous at home.

Ethan - 9 years and he has the mind of an adult. He is such a deep thinker I'm constantly amazed at things that come out of his mouth. He CANNOT sit still and is running, jumping or climbing at all times.

Braiden - 13 YIKES another teenager. He started 7th grade at a charter middle school and is at the top of his class. He is working on his art and if he is not drawing he is reading reading reading, a child after my own heart.

Kyle - 15 He is a freshman, also at a charter school and is always checking his grades to make sure he maintains a 4.0 He wants to have a career that pays THE MOST MONEY and knows that grades are the key. He thinks two steps ahead of every one and has his life pretty much planned out. He can't wait to get a job.

Lisa - Young at heart I love being a mom even when I don't like it I always love it. I have a new calling in Relief Society and it keeps me very busy but I love serving the Lord. I am also the Secretary for the Elementary PTA, the Webmistress for the middle school Booster club and a member of the High School Booster...Why? Because I love being involved.. (thanks mom)

Steve continues to work his tail off and day dream about the day he can buy a bass fishing boat. He is in the Nursery at Church and the kids love him. He takes pictures anytime he can and has produced a couple of wonderful water color paintings. He is an amazing man.

We are excited about 2010 and the wonderful changes in store for each of us.
