2010 in review

This has been a great year for the Amata Family. I will try and wrap it all up in as short of a blog as possible.

"Nate the Great" as he is know in first grade is having fun! He graduated from kindergarten with much fan fair and is now in first grade. He is the king of the house and has no problem pulling rank on any of his older brothers who try and order him around. He loves anything with sugar and playing with Ethan.

Ethan is growing up. He turned 10 and started 4th grade at a new charter school. He has decided he wants to be the next "American Ninja" and has started his training by jumping over anything and everything. He tries to roller blade everyday and was extremely sad when his bike was stolen out of the garage.

Braiden is making his way through his last year of middle school... He can't wait to be done and start high school. He has grown over 8 inches this past year and is now 'officially' the tallest person in our family. He also got contacts and looks so nice. He spends his weekends babysitting for families in the ward and has spent some of the money on his new love.... his PS3 gaming system.

Kyle turned 16...that should say it all. He is in speech and debate and LOVES to talk and argue so it's really a nice fit for him....he is also on the mock trial team and plays the guitar when he has any free time. He is working on getting his drivers license (but needs a job first). He is doing well in school and is actually a pretty great kid all round.

Steve and I are just getting OLD. lol I guess that's an unavoidable part of life. Steve is working working working and also busy with church callings. He is the official head of the Amata Moving Company and spends many a weekend with his boys moving families from here to there. He is very good at making sure he takes me on dates every Friday and we have been having a lot of fun. I am busy doing all the 'stuff' that mom's do. I don't want to take up page after page writing it all down....lol.... I love it!

We have been very blessed and are thankful to our Heavenly Father for the blessings and the challenges.

Love the Amata Family

P.S. OH did I mention we moved again???? Same city different house.... I'm just so used to moving I don't even notice anymore.

They are all growing up! It's kinda sad and great at the same time. Sad because I haven't seen them in a long time and great because, next time I do see them we will have so much to catch up on! You and Steve look really good too.
